How do I request a return?

  • Enter your email address and order number in the fields above, and click Start
  • Follow the instructions and select the item(s) that you wish to return
  • For defective or damage claims, please email us at cs@directtvparts.com with details of your claim. We may, in some cases, ask for additional information such as images of your original part or description of the damage. The more you describe or provide, the quicker we can reach a resolution.
    • Defective or damage claims with no comments will delay your return.
  • For all other standard return reasons, please comment below and select the appropriate reason.
  • You will receive an email with the return shipping label and instructions once your return request has been approved

 

Which items are returnable?

You can return items within 30 days of receipt of your shipment.

  • Parts must be packed securely and returned in original condition
  • Returns must include their original packing slip or order number
  • To return a kit, you must return all parts of the kitpartial returns are not accepted 
  • All parts that we send out have our logo stamped on them⁠—any returned parts that do not have our stamp will not be accepted

Are there any charges for a return?

  • All standard returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. In some cases, this may be waived with honest feedback.
  • If we determine that you received a mislabeled or defective part due to a shipping error on our end, you will not be charged for returns
  • If we are able to determine that your item was defective, you do not need to return it to us in order to receive a refund or replacement. You will notified if this is applicable in an email communication.
  • We test all parts for proper functioning upon return⁠—if you claim that your part was defective, but it is still working properly when we receive it, then your return will be subject to the normal 20% restocking fee and $10.99 shipping charge
  • Please note original shipping costs will not be refunded.

 

How soon will I get my refund?

  • Please allow up to 72 hours for your return request to be reviewed (our office is not able to process returns on weekends)
  • Once we receive and test your returned parts, you will will be notified of your refund by email
  • Refunds will be sent back to your original payment method
  • Refunds may take up to 5 business days to be fully processed (this delay depends entirely on your bank or payment processor)
